Good luck Simon!!
On Monday 28th October 2019, our BJJ Fundamentals Instructor, Professor Simon Tutton, taught his last session at New School BJJ Battersea. Simon was leaving the following day to embark on a new chapter in his life, in Scotland.
Simon has been taking the Fundamental class for over two years, not only teaching BJJ but also sharing his knowledge of Judo in order to improve our throwing skills. It was, for this reason, fitting that everyone in the class gave him a farewell gift in the form of a Judo throw – which everyone happily partook in with great eagerness!!!
After the session, Simon gave a farewell speech which, among many things, really expressed the importance of never giving up with jiu-jitsu training and how achieving that black belt, although incredibly difficult, should only be seen as the beginning of a greater journey – not the final destination.
We wish Simon all the best for the future and look forward to hearing all about his adventures in Scotland.
Good Luck Simon!!!!!
